trio

トリオの演奏終了しました。あいにくの大雨の中、Momo trioを聴きに来て下さったお客様ありがとうございました。終わってみて、初めてやった曲がやっとちょっと見えて来て、メドレー方式で曲をつなげたやり方ももう少し工夫がいるな、とかいろいろ改善点が思い浮かんでいます。曲想が今回は偏っていたかも。理想が先走ってしまった感がある。私はすごい力入れて弾いてしまったから、反応が遅れてしまって精さんや井谷君のパスが受けられなかった。演奏に関しては反省が多いですが、でもまた挑戦してみたいなと思っているトリオです。近いうちにまたやりたい。写真は終演後の様子と今日のセッティング。丸くなって演奏する位置でした。中でバランスをとって演奏しやすかったし、外にもよいバランスで出ていて小さい音もクリアだったようで良かったと思う。

Thank you for coming to my trio concert despite the heavy rain. I hope the audiences spent good time with our music. In this concert, I tried to create long story with 2 or 3 songs together, using some free improvisation to connect the songs. It was challenging for my trio and we found the things that didn't work out well but can be improving better if we could work more. So I would love to play and challenge again this trio project. About my playing, I was bit nervous and played with too much power on my hands, and those over-powerd playing caused delayed response to the notes from the band. I enjoyed the gig but I hope I could play better next time. The photo was taken after the concert with wonderful bass player Mr. Sho judo and splendid percussionist Mr. Takashi Itani. I'm so grateful for them.
