この日はこども合唱隊に加え秋田大学のサークル"ARC(アーク)"の皆さんにも急遽参加して頂いて、"森のテラスのテーマ"(作詞：テラスの皆様/ 作曲：Momo)をみんなで歌って、和やかにコンサートを始められました。秋田の民謡の"ドンパン節"や北秋田市出身の成田為三さん作曲の"浜辺の歌"もお客様が手拍子してくださったり、歌ってくださったりしてとても嬉しかったです。
来てくださったお客様はもちろんですが、環境の素晴らしさにもありがとうの気持ちで常に心が満たされていました。山と空に抱かれた水と生物で満ちた環境、自然にすっぱり収まってその中で呼吸するように、音を紡ぐ場をまるっと包む自然の力の偉大さに、自分だけの力ではなく大きな力のもとで人が集まりつながる事の奇跡を感じました。普段閉じている扉が開け放たれたような、静かで力強い流れを感じた、新しい貴重な経験でした。
企画してくださったテラスの皆様、テラスにふらりと立ち寄って話していってくださった方々、コンサートにお立ち寄りくださった方々、昼間のリズム遊びに参加してくださった皆様、コーラスに参加してくれた子供達やアークの皆さん、心から感謝です。ありがとうございます。”んだ、んだ”と笑顔で話してくださった秋田の先輩の皆様にもすごく元気をもらいました！秋田弁、いいなあ〜。村山修二郎さんの縄のインスタレーションも子供たちに大人気で、”輪”がある中で演奏させていただいたのもとても新鮮でワクワクする経験でした。
It was very special experiments to play for the "fire flies meeting"in Akita-mori-no-terrace. The video is "Theme of Mori-no-terrace"of the 2nd day of the concert.
There were the student of Akita university's group called "Arc" on that day for their agricultural activities, and they sang the song with children. It was not planned but they are very friendly and did the best that they could. I really appreciated for them.
It was very dark in the video, but actually, it was before the sunset, around 7pm. I was so overwhelmed by the rich nature and it was a such a special moments to play in that environment. I really appreciated for the all the people who came and support this event. Thank you very much.
19日は20年来の友人、弓削礼子さんのゴスペルコンサート。その前日に京都アニメーションの事件があり、頭が混乱する中で、その日演奏予定の曲の中にヴァイオレットエヴァーガーデンという京都アニメーション制作のアニメの主題歌があり、れいちゃんのお話しの中でその点にも触れていて、心からの祈りを持って演奏しました。
すごく良い曲で、リハの段階から、""いいねー、いい歌！歌詞もとっても素晴らしいね”と私も大好きになった曲。"あなたのこえが、みちしるべ"というアカペラの歌い出しが、沢山の個人、"誰か"の心を照らす作品を作り上げてきた人々への祈りに繋がり、悲しくという単語では表せない、言葉にならない痛ましい事件への思いが溢れました。
有り余る"なぜ？"という答えのない疑問を教会という場で少しだけでも祈りに代えられた事で、これからも考えていく力を頂いたと感じています。その日の朝、高橋源一郎さんが"Think&Pray"(順番があやふやですが。。)というお話しをされていて、それもとても記憶に残りました。友人ともその晩、話しをしたけれど、やりきれない、悲しい事件に心が痛むばかりでした。自分にもある闇、いのちの尊さ、社会のあり方、いろんな事を考えさせられました。

I play with wonderful gospel singer and being friend for more than 20 years, Ms. Reiko Yuge at Sensui church in Kamakurra on 19th July. Day before the concert, horrible arson attack was happened at Kyoto animation, KyoAni, famous and beloved animation studio in Kyoto.
I was so confused and couldn't accepted what happened when I heard the breaking news. It was far beyond my imagination. When I met Ms. Yuge, she told me one of our songs which is going to play is the theme of animation called "Violet Evergarden" created by KyoAni. I didn't know the song before we rehearsed, but it became one of my favourite, with good melodies and great lyrics.
When I played the song at the concert, I was so overwhelmed by mixed feeling, I was so sad, but at the same time, my heart was filled with a lot of "Why?", the questions that never got answers. But I felt there are many sincere prayers in the church and the peaceful atmosphere made me bit calmer.
After the concert, I talked with my old friend about it. It made me think a lot of things, the preciousness of life, darkness that exist in everyone's heart, roles of societies.... I have many question still now, but it's important to keep thinking many "why"s and seek and do the things that I can.
