タケノコと梅

人差し指サイズのタケノコと小梅。小梅は梅シロップを作る用。桑の実ジャムも一度つくってみたいなあ、と今いっぱいなっているプチプチの実を摘んでは食べ。今日はヤマモモの青い実を見つけました。

今週木曜、13:30から仙川森のテラスでソロピアノやっています。子供歓迎です(中学生以下無料)。ワンコイン(500円・お茶とおやつ付き)。にわかに暑くなっていますが、木陰のテラスに涼みにいらしてください。

ジャズスタンダードやオリジナル、日本の歌などを、緑に囲まれたオープンガーデン、森のテラスでゆったりと弾きます。お買い物の帰り、お散歩のついで、なんでもない日のちょっとした楽しみにふらっとお立ち寄りください。子供、乳幼児大歓迎です。

ラジオで

大分前にラジオで聞いたGLIM SPANKYというバンド、すごくかっこ良くてそれからずっと気になっていたのですが、ライブ動画がまた良かった。大分前のかな？ロックだなー。

今日お昼を食べたお店で、たまたま持っていた2千円札を出したら、”僕、今、500円札持ってますよ”と言われ、早い時間でお客さんがまだおられなかったので、見せてもらいました。見たの、何十年ぶり？でも使ったことあったかな？ギリギリ流通していたのは知っているような。。。あやふやです。土砂降りでしたが、とてもとても美味しいご飯で、幸せになりました。

I accidentally had "2,000 yen bill", which is very rare to see, today, so I used it for my lunch. The shop owner said "mmm..., but, you know, I have 500 yen bill right now, do you want see it?" Of course I said "Yes!". Last time I saw 500 yen bill was at least decades ago, or more..? We talked about how the world had changed in these 30 or 40 years. By the way, the dishes he made are VERY good. I was so happy because I was satisfied with my lunch and I also love sharing funny things with smiling people.

富山からの荷物に入っていた白エビの干したの。カリカリと美味しくいただきました。

先週のテラス来てくださったお客様ありがとうございました。2月、3月は森のテラスがお休みなので、次回は4/18(木)13:30~15:30です。桜咲いているかな？お散歩がてらお立ち寄りください。

Thank you for coming Momo's piano solo at Mori-no-terrace last week. They will close from Feb. to Mar., so next concert will be Thursday, 18th, April. We may see the cherry blossom in bloom...Please stop by while you walk around blooming Sengawa.

ケストナーのどうぶつ会議、ずっと読んでいなくて初めてきちんと読みました。岩波の挿絵のついた児童書。これが書かれた時から半世紀以上たっているのに。

I finally read "The animal's Conference" by Erich Kästner, translated version by Iwanami-shoten illustrated by W. Trier. Almost nothing change since it was published more than half a century ago.

ニュースで夜空に広告を映すというニュースを聞いて、絶句した。愚かすぎる。

When I was hearing news, I found out some people were thinking to put advertisement on the sky. WHAT!? How could be? How can someone be so extremely foolish? We already have much more than enough ads and sky is not someone's possession at all... I totally have no words for it, hard to believe....We've studied for WHAT????

夕日/sunset

相模湖の4時ちょっと過ぎくらいの夕日。とても綺麗でした。It was gorgeous sunset about 4pm at Sagami lake in Kanazawa.

明日は森のテラスで13:30からソロピアノやっています。2月はテラスがしまっているのでお休み。3月も未定。テラスの横の階段から見える夕焼けも綺麗なのです。お時間のある方は是非。I'll play piano at Mori-no-terrace, Sengawa, Chofu tomorrow afternoon from 1:30pm. They will close whole February and we don't know about March yet, so tomorrow will be first solo piano in this year and 2nd one will be on April, at least, hopefully. Please come to listen.

久しぶりにビリーホリデー聴いたら心地よかった。誰も真似できないなあ。イギリスの亡くなってしまった若い歌手、エイミーワインハウスさんを初めて聴いた時、ちょっと似てるかな、と思ったけれど、どっちもオリジナルだなあ、と改めて思いました。両者とも大好きな歌手の一人です。
I was listening some of Verve recordings by Ms. Billie Holiday. She sang standards, not dark one, like "Stars fell on Alabama"etc. She's such an ORIGINAL, I don't have to say though, no copies may exist, impossibly unique and so touching. When I heard Ms. Amy Winehouse, her voice reminds me Ms. Billie Holiday little bit, but they are so original in their own way, I was sure again while listening those recordings. I love both of  them, and it’s really sad that we are not able to see their live performance any more.

Usually I forgot how grateful to be healthy and to be able to enjoy our daily foods. The ordinary is the most extraordinary. Even we're facing a high mountain which we don't know how high it is, we can and should just start with first single step, one by one,  those slow steps bring us somewhere further.
